Description

The objective of the project is to develop and validate a methodology for the benchmarking of trajectory prediction models, with the aim to validate them and to assess their accuracy. This project takes as reference the work issued from the Action Plan 16 of the FAA/Eurocontrol R&D committee (see the Trajectory Prediction Homepage).

The study will compare two types of trajectory predictions:

• mass-energy models, like BADA
• statistical models, based on regression for example
